When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said to one another,
“If Joseph is holding a grudge against us,
he will certainly repay us for all the suffering we caused him.”

  2. That picture is just beautiful, so often I wonder when I look at the beauty of wildlife how someone could say 'there is no God'. Who else could paint a multitude of colors and make a bird?

  4. Dawn, I've often thought of that statement and the fear that made them say it. Good from evil, God used that totally dysfunctional family to cause His good works to come to fruition.

  5. What a clever depiction of Joseph's coat of many colors! Love it! Such an incredible verse about the true and overwhelming power of forgiveness, and an image that will be etched in my mind for a long time. Beautiful!

  10. Lovely... I love colorfulness most of the time in every portion of life. The parrots always make me "ooo" and "aww" when I'm at the zoo. HAVE seen them in Costa Rica NOT in a zoo, but not a frequent occurrence. Joseph's colorful coat got his bros mad b/c he was being treated in a special way ... wonder how many gray, brown or blah-colored birds would be mad at this one. ;)
