Tall
Today I stand tall
Hold my face high
I will feel love and
the weight of loss
Alone today I stand
Today I stand tall
Solemnly, with dignity
And a measure of grace
Which wrecks me and how
you know it’s grace
Today I stand tall
Proud of who I was
who I am now
I have cowered
My knees have wobbled
So I can stand tall
Today I stand tall
after bending low
After heart dissolved
And life grows slow
Before I knew nothing
Today I stand tall
On the right in
purple dignity
But also sackcloth
With courage and fear
And a God who let (led?) us here
I stand tall.
