So glad you posted this. <br />True faith is in Him, not in desirable outcomes. <br />I am remembering about five years ago praying for hours one of those "take this cup away," prayers, actually shaking, trembling, then finally giving in to His will, to find myself following through with a power and peace not my own. What I had to do was so small in comparison to the cup He prayed about in Gethsemane, but it made me think about Him praying there---a lot. Things like this we wouldn't want to go through again, but they certainly do deepen our experience of Christ and the Christ life.
