We should be able to love people no matter what God made them to be. We all have hangups and walls we need to break down in order to reach others for Christ. May God bless you!Deborah H. She was a sweet lady. I grew up in a racially mixed neighborhood in Greenville. Having lived in the Midwest for seven years now I would say that real life is more integrated in the south. The people here don't discriminate against black people as much but there seems to be a separateness that I've yet to figure out. I think that perhaps it's not so much the color of your skin but the cash in your wallet that is the actual discrimnator. I don't know ...still trying to figure it all out! We have other ethnic groups attend our church but very few join and stay.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5307129997060496779.post-87243089366210359972011-07-29T09:33:11.254-04:002011-07-29T09:33:11.254-04:00This is why we must be transformed into Christ-lik...This is why we must be transformed into Christ-likeness (Rom. 8:29). I am so thankful to the Lord that He has and continues to change us so we can see what He see's. Interesting enough I was thinking about how precious CWO Church is a few days ago and the sweet fellowship of the Spirit that is there! We are brothers and sisters IN CHRIST - what a glorious union. So grateful to my parents who taught me and showed me to love ALL people unconditionally!Pastor Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00861327407028418016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5307129997060496779.post-3234091699034029222011-07-28T18:38:08.539-04:002011-07-28T18:38:08.539-04:00Thank you for this testimony of how the gospel is ...Thank you for this testimony of how the gospel is transforming your church and family, one generation at a time. I have never lived in the "Deep South," but I still enjoyed the book and found it gave me perspective on prejudicial attitudes in my family background, too. It will be interesting to see how faithful the film is to the book.

Grace and peace to you and yours in Christ!tinuvielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06462001159262770932noreply@blogger.com
