To seek the "bright spot," to look for His Light, the Beacon to follow, the light for each step...it is how we're to live in Him, isn't it? Thank you for the beautiful reminder. :)
I love rainbows. When my grandmother died and we went back to the site of our family reunion for the first time without her, God had placed a rainbow in the sky as soon as we drove up. Love.
Awesome photo showing how He is with us in the midst of the mundane every day. Bright spots all around, just not as obvious as a rainbow. Happy Palm Sunday Dawn.
When I see a rainbow while traveling, I nearly drive off the road to take photos or just see it from end to end. Have been blessed to see them in a variety of areas of our country and some gorgeous ones in Uganda. Amazingly, they can happen anywhere, nearly any time. And I love the forever promise attached to them. Forever and ever.
Dawn is a writer, Bible teacher, speaker, and pastor's wife. She co-founded Columbia World Outreach Church in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband, Mike. By day, Dawn manages a law firm. In the leftover hours she writes for various online and print publications. You are welcome here. What you will find is real life and a faith that's a living organism -- which is to say it's growing and sometimes cranky, exuberant, stinky, wobbly, petulant, overconfident, tired, satisfying, and beautiful. May you find here some courage to own your own days and your own unfinished faith.
