African Appetizer

Mike's home, and he brought a few pictures. 


He did take a picture of his dusty feet, after all. 
But I prefer this one, because you can really see just how dusty it was:

This is one town in Kenya at one moment in time.
Y'all, it makes me wonder what heaven will be like.
This makes me want to go there. Now.
And be surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses.

  2. that is amazing.. and beautiful. it moved something in me... brought back my own memories of africa :) the faces, the joy. the dusty feet. {sigh} some day i'm going back.

  3. I agree -- what a beautiful cloud of witnesses! Each individual is precious in God's sight, He knows each by name, He knows every hair on every head. Each of them has a lifetime's worth of stories. Looking at their beautiful faces makes me wish I knew their stories.
